Time
Time is set up for us in years, months, weeks, days, hours, and minutes. Sometimes in life we feel time is elusive, and escapes us. I'm going to be 43 this week!! I am not sad about that, I am truly excited! Why? Because we have stepped into a place of dreaming in real time! Our 40's have been the best years of our lives so far! My husband will be 44 this year, and we are both doing and seeing things come to pass we have been dreaming about for years!
Dreaming
We are dreamers!! If you are a dreamer you understand. Dreaming mixed with faith and believing God for things bigger than yourself is a great place to be. Some dreamers only have their dreams, and are sad, lonely, and lost. However, dreaming plus trusting God is completely different. I'm not saying there hasn't been hurt, heartache, and lots of waiting. What I am saying is we don't stay in this place of hurt. We experience the feelings, and then we pray, fast, read and speak the word, stir up the gift inside of us, and go again!
The Wait
The place of waiting is hard, I won't sugar coat it and say it isn't. But when you give God full reign in your life, you can trust it will happen. We have waited on so many things over the almost 13 years we have been married. There has been times it felt like forever, and other times the Lord answered quickly. Some days I needed encouraged, and other days my husband did, but we helped each other, and lifted each other up!
Mockers
You will always have mockers. Look at Joesph, his brothers hated him for his dreams. They didn't like that he was walking in faith for what the Lord had shown him. You can't live worrying about what others think of your dreams. But through all of his trials he gained wisdom, love, position, and mercy. He was a type of Christ. So if we think about it that way, we know that dreaming is living a life like Jesus, as long as we are lined up with His will and the Word.
Stepping In
Have you ever been in a place where you stop thinking about the dream, and the door opens for you to walk through? It's a powerful place to be! This year the Lord told us it will be a year of miracles and we are stepping into our destiny. Does that sound too big? For us it is, but with God nothing is impossible. Faith raises us up to a place that we get out of the boat and walk on water. We trust God enough to say, I'm stepping in and realize He met us with solid ground. What an exciting time!! I know our marriage is so strong because we dream and step in together.
Waves
It's very easy to get to the place you have always dreamed of and fail if you don't keep your eyes on Jesus. The waves around us can get scary, and we take our eyes off of Him, the promises, and the dream He gave us. Others can say something, you can see an obstacle, you may be in Potiphars house, and end up in prison. If you keep a right spirit, with every attack of the enemy, you will see the hand of God position you in the palace!
Dreams Fulfilled
I love the story of Joseph as he was a type of Christ. He was given a dream bigger than his human nature, and in the end, he went through all of his trials to save his family and much people, the whole known world at that time. He then extended mercy to his brothers, the ones who hated him for the dream. At this point he was dreaming in real time! Joseph was seeing his dreams fulfilled, and saw all that was once just a dream in his present life, now a vivid reality. What dreams has God given you and your spouse? How are you preparing for them? Have you been mocked? Are any of them happening now? Get ready, prepare, expect with faith, and step in!! You could be one moment away from dreaming in real time and living a life of destiny and purpose!!
Scripture
Monday: Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:" There is a time for everything, a season, and a purpose! We must look to the Lord for direction and timing and be ready!
Tuesday: 2 Timothy 1:6 says, " Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands." The gift that God has placed in you, the dream, He wants you to stir up!! To believe again, to trust and say yes with faith!
Wednesday: Genesis 42:9 says, "And Joseph remembered the dreams which he dreamed of them," The wait was long but Joseph saw his brothers bow before him. He had wisdom enough to know it wasn't because of them and it wasn't to just reign over them. He was raised up to save them!
Thursday: Genesis 37:8 says, “And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words.” Mockers will always be present, so remember to encourage one another.
Friday: Luke 1:37 says, “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Don't let worry and doubt stop you in your pursuit of the dreams God has given you, for nothing shall be impossible!
Saturday: Matthew 14:29 says, "And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus." Peter is another example of stepping out and trusting God to walk in miracles toward your dreams!
Sunday: Genesis 50:20 says, “But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.” Josephs dreams were fulfilled as he trusted God, and kept his spirit right! Imagine what the Lord wants to do in your life as you start dreaming in real time!!!
