Is Your Hidden Treasure Buried?
Gods word tells us in Matthew 13:44 says, “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field” Do you know what and where your treasure is? The kingdom of heaven is like a hidden treasure. It is buried in the word of God. It is the word of God! It’s the pearl of great price! We have our hope and treasure in Jesus! We can read, search, and seek God in prayer, fasting and the word. That is where we will find our true treasure, not in this world, not in relationships, or even family. It is in Him! It is all in Him! He is our hope, our future, our promise! Without Jesus we have nothing.
Where Is Your Treasure
The bible tells us, “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Where is your treasure? Is it in stocks and bonds, property, vacation homes, vehicles, entertainment, jobs, careers? What do you treasure? Your family, your husband, wife, children, grandchildren, or even great-grandchildren? God wants us to love our families, to take care of the things we have, and even, He’s ok with us enjoying a vacation. But if that is what we treasure above all else, we have lost sight of Him. He is the one thing in this world we can’t live without.
Gods Treasure
We are God’s treasure, the apple of His eye. He made an everlasting covenant with us, He gave Himself for us. He robed Himself in flesh and came down from His throne to be with us. We are His creation, He formed us with His hands, and breathed into Adam’s nostrils with the breath of life! We are His prized possessions.
Digging Deep
The Lord says in Isaiah 45:3, “And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.” Sometimes we need to go a little deeper to find the deep things of God. We need to push past whats comfortable, and whats even uncomfortable, to find Him in that secret place. We need to dig deeper to find those hidden treasures. He has so much more for us if we can learn to go to a new level, press past where we have been, and see the hidden riches revealed.
Deep In The Earth
We could have silver and gold, which are found deep in the ground, or oil, many jewels have to be dug out, gas is deep in the ground. Many of the earths natural resources are deep in the earth, the ones we use to survive, to thrive! The ones who go after these treasures, are the ones who become wealthy. They take the risks, they give up many comforts, they spend all they have, for the joy of uncovering this great treasure. The ones who really become wealthy, share it with the world.
Treasure Hunters
Treasure hunters are always in search of some great new find, some relic, an artifact of great price! They are always on an adventure, traveling all over the world, in search of some lost treasure. Leaving all in search of that next great find to share with the world! To find something that was lost years ago, that once found, everyone will enjoy! We can be treasure hunters too! We can search the word of God and share it with others!! Is your hidden treasures buried?
Great Price
What does God look for in us? A meek and quiet spirit is of great price in the sight of God. This comes by spending time in His presence and always seeking for Him! To read, pray, fast, and listen, waiting on Him in that secret place! Ladies we can win our husbands, we have power with them, because we are submitted to God and our husbands. We can see our homes change, and joy come, even in tough situations, when they hear our chaste conversation coupled with fear. We can have blessed marriages when we uncover our hidden treasures God has for us. Seeing our marriage become all we hoped for by becoming a treasure hunters in prayer, and the word of God!!
Scriptures:
Monday: Matthew 13:44 says, “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field” Pray God help you to see the real treasure in your life, and that you would give all for it!
Tuesday: Matthew 6:21 says, “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Pray God helps you to put your heart on the things of the Lord!
Wednesday: Psalms 17:8 says, “Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of they wings.” We are Gods treasure, pray today you learn this scripture and just how special you are to Him!
Thursday: Isaiah 45:3, “And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.” As you learn this scripture find the deep things of God by finding a secret place in God through prayer, and the hidden riches the Lord has for you.
Friday: 1 Corinthians 2:10 says, “For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.” Study this scripture and pray God helps you see anything valuable is worth searching for.
Saturday: 2 Timothy 2:15 says, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” Praying for the heart of a treasure hunter to search out the deep things of God.
Sunday: 1 Peter 3:4 says, “But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament fo a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.” Praying for a heart of a woman of God who will read and obey the word to do our part to have a blessed marriage.
Prayer
Praying today for you to seek out the deep hidden treasures God has for you and in turn for your marriage!!! You can see God move into your situation, whatever it may be, and help you!! You can have a happilyevermarried!
